Information Regarding Covid-19
Below are the Covid-19 Risk Assessments for our schools.
Visitors to our Schools:
We are seeking the support of staff, pupils and visitors that enter the school site, in helping us to minimise the risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19) to our community.
With this in mind, and in line with guidance from Public Health England, please refrain from entering the school site for any reason if you have any of the following symptoms:
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
In this instance you should stay at home and get a Covid-19 test, following the advice and guidance here.
While on site, you are no longer legally required to wear a face covering. However, you are more than welcome to if you wish to wear one. There are alcohol hand sanitisers located at each external door and we would ask that you sanitise your hands upon entry and exit of each building, and before using our toilet facilities.
We also hope you will help follow general good hygiene practice to stop the spread of any viruses. This includes covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze, putting used tissues in the bin immediately and washing your hands with soap and water often.
If you begin to develop symptoms of Covid-19 whilst in school, please inform a member of staff immediately and follow their advice. If you develop such symptoms within 10 days of visiting Borough Road Nursery School/George Dent Nursery School, or subsequently test positive for the virus, please inform us on 01325 380785/380802 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com as soon as possible.
We thank you for your support and understanding.
